We had a little unexpected trip to the hospital this week in the Innes home…  Everything is okay, but as you know life just stops when that happens. So regular updates will resume on January, 9th.  See you then!

So… I like the Revolutionary War, right?  Over the past year, I’ve accumulated some pretty cool Revolutionary War-themed gifts from people who know and love me.  And, well, since Christmas is right around the corner, I thought that some of them might make really good gift ideas for you!  

Enjoy!  My top six picks for Christmas 2008!

#1:  Life-sized bust of George Washington (or any founder really).

Sure, you could settle for a small, six or twelve inch bust of your favorite Founding Father, but why?  A miniature bust of your favorite Founder only suggests that you like history enough to be public about it, but not enough to be gaudy.  Well, imagine this piece of thrift-store magnificence when I have guests over for dinner!  Nothing says, “What-the-crap-is-that??” like a giant George Washington next to your Television.  Believe me, this one is a crowd pleaser (or reducer) for sure!

The rest of the emails were pretty much the same, lol.  So of course he peeked my curiosity, and after I finally pried it out of him, he sent me a link to this.
