W00T! I’ll be back home for Spring Break by then, and we have HBO (oddly enough it was accidental and the cable company was like “oh, well happy birthday, we don’t know why your TV picks it up but hey, who’s complaining?” lol).

I just bought that book at the store a few weeks ago. Haven’t had time to start reading it though. I had to finish my friends’ graphic novels and I really need to finish “Silver on the Tree” this week, so I can start it at Spring Break. lol

Oh, it’s 7 parts (Yeah I wondered for a minute there how they’d make a book that big fit in one night lol)? Oopsie, I’ll have to set the recorder at home and pray my mum doesn’t take the tape out and forget to put it back in! lol

And can I just say one thing? Paul Giamatti is a GOD. lol (I’ve been in love with him since I saw Lady in the Water and he was awesome in The Illusionist)

Oh. That is lovely. David McCullough is wonderful, and it looks like this might have a chance at doing him justice! I wonder if Clay Jenkinson will mention this next TJH?

*Squeals!* Oooooh, why don’t I know anyone with HBO?! Not fair!!!

  8. Caera says:

Maybe they’ll sell the DVD of it…I know they do that sometimes, like “The Journalist and the Jihadi.” I missed part of it because my recorder went nuts on me, so I can just order the DVD if I can ever bring myself to watch it again. :/

I’ll just keep checking back, maybe we’ll get lucky. :P

Thanks for reminding me! I almost forgot! I’m going to try to watch it, depending on how my schedule goes….Dx

Oh my, this is so exciting! I had no idea they were making a mini series about John Adams, based on the book by David McCullough no less! His book was part of our literature books in school last year, and I loved every bit of it! I’ll try and get my mom to get us HBO for this series lol. Gotta love Tivo ;)

Hah. I wish I had the option of getting HBO. Unfortunately, NHK doesn’t undesrtand HBO. “HBO Nani-yo??? Wakarimasen…*teeth sucking* so desune… mmmm… muzukashi desune…gomenasai sumimasen.”

Oh well. I guess I’ll wait until I get back to the states and catch it on re-run.

My boyfriend spends too much time on websites like this. I hate all those sources! They must be abandoned!
