Young’in Al sure had a simple dream. To live at his farm until he was 96. Who would’ve thought. ;P

  2. Brent says:

Wow, Alan almost sounds a little cold-hearted there. Guess this would be the first instance of his extreme determination in getting something. Still, he’s right — the land is pretty prettyful.

And look at Bea run in the VI! White lines, you’re making me move faster…

    INCENTIVE CAPTION!!

Soldier: “Man, that girl must really want to catch those white lines…”

  3. Now I want to live on Alan’s farm and hoping I will make it to 100 when I die and 96 is almost close to 100 by 4 years if I’m correct.

    Oh Bea!

  4. Caera says:

Ninety-six! That’s insane, especially for back then. But all the same, Alan’s sooo bad!!! Lol I love Joseph’s face!

Aww, it’d be nice if we see a 96 year old Alan pottering about on his farm at the end of the story. <:D

The VI: That is an amazing shot. I wonder who she’s going to get help from though…<..> Teehee

  5. Half Moon says:

    Wow…Now I want to move to Roxbury….

  6. Faith says:

I think this is more or less an accurate depiction of my reaction to the whole bunch of Warren menfolk:

The fireflies in these panels is mesmerizing. I like to look at the artwork, and imagine it as a realistic scene, with the beautiful, otherworldy light of the fireflies floating in the trees.

    Nice. :-)))))

  8. KitakLaw says:

Well, now…that was interesting. I was debating on whether I wanted to smack Alan for saying the stuff he did…or laugh.

  9. Jen says:

I think my favorite thing about today’s page is how much Alan’s blue eyes stand out, even in the twilight. I loves me a man with blue eyes (I married one, after all).

  10. Catherine says:

I love the fireflies I’n the back round. Amazing job! :)

  11. Rae says:

haha Alan sure was a little harsh when he was a Teen good thing he’s mellowed out a little since then…or is just less vocal in those kinds of thoughts lol :)

  12. trevor says:

    A nice touching scene, Lora.
