And this just keeps getting worse for Bea, doesn’t it? I swear if the next update has him asking, “So…….who’s Alan?” I will quote episode 6 of Buffy (“He’s a guy! A friend! He’s a guy friend!”) and die.*

And with a VI like that there’s apparently two INCENTIVE CAPTION!! this update, so here’s the normal

Actually, Warren Russet hard cider might be a handy alternative. Similar nerve-calming as chamomile tea but has advantage of coming fresh from the family farm.

I would like to point out that I’m definitively not underaged. :P I’m 30.
That said, I’ll take a cup of the chamomile and a mug of the hard cider. :)
She may still be a minor, but I get the feeling that Bea may be wanting something like that to calm her nerves before long. It’s truancy now, could underage drinking be next? I fear Bea could be starting off on the path to delinquency here! :(

I think the cleverest thing for Bea to do at this point is pass out, princess-faint-style. That way she can be in Ben’s arms AND dream about Alan at the same time… aaaaaaaand I just realized what an awful and awkward suggestion this is. Yikes.

I too am expecting Ben to be all, “Who’s Alan?” Either that or he didn’t hear her and wants to go out on a date after play practice (they are still rehearsing Romeo and Juliet, right?). I have a feeling Bea isn’t going to fall asleep/wake up in time. How soon after Nathan’s capture did the Americans know about it? How heart wrenching for Bea would it be if she wakes up in teh 18th century *after* they find out about Nathan? She still doesn’t know about Knowlton yet either, does she?
See, I’d be running to the library at this point, even if only to see if there was something I could do, despite the “I won’t change history” thing.

If the Super-Soldier formula had existed in 1776 then I see no reason why Nathan couldn’t be a prime candidate for it, and unlike Steve Rogers he already IS a real Captain. But I wonder if he would use either a shield or a special custom-built spontoon, or both.

YES. YES! That’s so insane; I was literally just thinking about rewatching some episodes of Liberty’s Kids today. I guess I know where to start!
GAAAAAAAAAAH Where have I been!? D: I got sooo far behind in your comic updates and commenting and…EVERYTHING! Good thing I’m all caught up now! This issue has been awesome so far, especially the parts with Nathan in them. (No more Nathan-withdrawl now, right?) The dynamics between all these guys is so tense and great and…so real!
