In a nutshell, entries are due December 21st, and must be inspired by events in Graphic Novel Volume 2! (Issues 7 – 11) You can write songs, poems, fan fic, draw pictures, take pictures, make costumes, dress your dogs in costumes–whatever you want! The more creative, the better! Oh yeah, and you can win free graphic novels, drawings, and other cool stuff.

I’m so glad you updated early I was about to head into my last afternoon class of the day and thought I’ll check the Dreamer. So, glad that I did! This was sad, but sweet all at the same time! Can’t wait for next week!
I’ve been to CW’s Grand Illumination twice – it’s such a wonderful, indescribable experience….I hope you have the BEST of times – enjoy it for all of us who aren’t going to experience it this year…..and maybe take and post a few pictures too :)

*gasp!* Who says you can be too young to have a bucket list? I’ve had friends who died at ages 7, 19, and 24, and Nathan was 21. I’ll keep my bucket list, and as I check things off, I’ll add new ones. That = epic full life whether I lived to be 38 or 98. XD
Besides, sometimes when you get old you body starts to grow contrary, so travel is less appealing. Better do it ASAP! ;D

What revolutionary stuff is on yours? ;) First and foremost on my bucket list is to go see Yorktown! And then Williamsburg! I also wanna go to Gettysburg and see a reenactment of the battle. <33
Boston & Mount Vernon are the main 2 on my bucket list and going on a cruise ship is the 3rd on the bucket list too, I’m into the Titanic ship thing ever since 1997

Awwwww Alan just broke my heart. And then Aunt Mary put it back together with warm fuzzies to spare. I just want to say that all the art for this issue so far, title page and all, is absolutely breathtaking. I mean, I’ve become used to excellence, but for some reason it’s really impressing me now. Tiny Alan is absolutely ADORABLE by the way, that might be it; I have seven younger siblings so looking at his sad face makes me want to give him a big sister hug, hahaha.
Oh baby Alan! I’ll give you a hug! I’ll be your mama! (I totally mean that in a non-weird way. Since I am actually old enough to be his mom now that we’re looking at baby Alan.)

I was just wondering, is this flashback because Alan’s pneumonia has left him unconscious and he’s dreaming or is it just backstory for our benefit?
It seems too tidy and detailed to be a fevered dream, so i’d say it’s more of a backstory. But anyway I hope you’re feeling better today. I think I once had something like the illness you had last year as well as the one you have now, based on your descriptions of them, so I totally sympathize!
Last year was borderline pneumonia and this year was a milder version of what started said pneumonia last year, so I hope you did better than me. Lol but I am on some good meds now so I should be fine. :-)
