New Page #3!

Mike and I are on our way down to Colonial Williamsburg for their Christmas Grand Illumination Celebration! Follow me on Twitter if you want to hear about it and see pictures. To avoid any mishap with an unreliable hotel internet connection, we’re giving you Friday’s page right now.

First! Omg, I’m tearing up this is so sweet! Not to mention laughing my butt off at the fact Alan gave John a good um… knocking ;P

  2. Rae says:

I’m so glad you updated early I was about to head into my last afternoon class of the day and thought I’ll check the Dreamer. So, glad that I did! This was sad, but sweet all at the same time! Can’t wait for next week!

  3. Natalie says:

I’ve been to CW’s Grand Illumination twice – it’s such a wonderful, indescribable experience….I hope you have the BEST of times – enjoy it for all of us who aren’t going to experience it this year…..and maybe take and post a few pictures too :)

Have fun! And thanks for Dreamer a bit early :)

  4. Hannah says:

This page is so adorable! And also sad, but the kind of sad that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, if that makes any sense.

Btw, I am kind of in love with Mary Warren’s gloves. Just saying.

  5. Caera says:

Cuteness overload! Man, I got sent home sick and I’m in bed burning up, and I get on and see this and I feel like I could leap over tall buildings.

Have fun in Williamsburg. I am sooo jealous. It’s on my bucket list.

    • Half Moon says:

lol “like” but ur too young to have a bucket list

      • Niki says:

        HAHAHA same here ;P

      • Caera says:

*gasp!* Who says you can be too young to have a bucket list? I’ve had friends who died at ages 7, 19, and 24, and Nathan was 21. I’ll keep my bucket list, and as I check things off, I’ll add new ones. That = epic full life whether I lived to be 38 or 98. XD

Besides, sometimes when you get old you body starts to grow contrary, so travel is less appealing. Better do it ASAP! ;D

        • Niki says:

Truuuue dat ;) I always thought I was the weird one for having a bucket list at sixteen… ;PP
What revolutionary stuff is on yours? ;) First and foremost on my bucket list is to go see Yorktown! And then Williamsburg! I also wanna go to Gettysburg and see a reenactment of the battle. <33

  6. Lauren says:

    AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW…………………..

  7. nessili says:

Can I be Mary Warren when I grow up?

  8. Tamesin says:

Alan popped a 6-year-old in the nose? No wonder John has left him lying in his tent…
    Seriously, though, this is sweet!

    • Lora says:

Ha ha ha! Payback’s a you know what…

Alan is just mad the gunsmith wouldn’t take John as a down payment on that longrifle Al’s been eyeing.

  9. Chajiko says:

OK, my eyes are all brimming and I am dying from a cute overload. ALAAAAN

  10. Brent says:

Oh, man…..it’s not enough that Alan’s already so cute, but now I just want to hold him and tell him it’ll all be okay.

BTW, I kinda wanna worship Mary (Stevens) Warren a little now. Best…..aunt……ever.

  11. Kal says:

Awwwww Alan just broke my heart. And then Aunt Mary put it back together with warm fuzzies to spare. I just want to say that all the art for this issue so far, title page and all, is absolutely breathtaking. I mean, I’ve become used to excellence, but for some reason it’s really impressing me now. Tiny Alan is absolutely ADORABLE by the way, that might be it; I have seven younger siblings so looking at his sad face makes me want to give him a big sister hug, hahaha.

  12. Jen says:

Oh baby Alan! I’ll give you a hug! I’ll be your mama! (I totally mean that in a non-weird way. Since I am actually old enough to be his mom now that we’re looking at baby Alan.)

  13. Niki says:

Mary Warren is sweet :) She’s an epic mother…aunt…mama… ;)
    Poor ole’ Alan….and dang…the VI breaks my heart… :(

  14. trevor says:

Another amazing page, Lora. Great emotional start to the new issue.

  15. Lil Alan sure knows how to punch Lil John in the nose ouch!

  16. Evergreena says:

D’aww… I like this exchange. It feels real.

  17. Caera says:

I was just wondering, is this flashback because Alan’s pneumonia has left him unconscious and he’s dreaming or is it just backstory for our benefit?

    • David says:

It seems too tidy and detailed to be a fevered dream, so i’d say it’s more of a backstory. But anyway I hope you’re feeling better today. I think I once had something like the illness you had last year as well as the one you have now, based on your descriptions of them, so I totally sympathize!

      • Caera says:

Last year was borderline pneumonia and this year was a milder version of what started said pneumonia last year, so I hope you did better than me. Lol but I am on some good meds now so I should be fine. :-)

  18. Katherine says:

    I’m about to cry!!! :(

  19. Gaby says:

What email do we send our FanArt to? Thank you :3
