  1. Emily says:

It’s an interesting cover! I’ve noticed all of my favorite junk food items are on the floor! Lucky Charms, Coco Puffs, Hohos, Doritos.. and a tricorn hat.:)

  2. Natalie says:

I’m just glad there’s no hints of her waking up in a hospital (medical or mental), poor confused Bea. Great choice of song for the quote, though it doesn’t foreshadow well for the romance.
“When I think of heaven I think of you, when I think of heaven… I think of dying”
    :o

  3. Caliypsoe says:

Great cover! I love all the junk food. XD

    Happy Holidays!

  4. Kimberly says:

Messy much, Bea? The song quote is awesome, though! :D

Oh! I picked up David McCullough’s “1776″ at my local bookstore the other day, and I thought of you, Lora! I must say, it was well worth the $14.95 I spent on it.

    Merry Christmas!

  5. brenda says:

It looks like she’s been on a crying jag…I would after having a fight like that.

  6. Brianna says:

ahhhh!! LOVE the new cover! all the little details were absolutely fantastic! SO excited for the new issue!

i have to say, you made me look a little mentally challenged because I nearly pressed my nose to the computer screen to get a good look at all the little details you have, it was wonderful.

the scene definitely resembles something out of my life – but if only i had a tricorne…..(and an Alan)

  7. Saknika says:

GOOD GOD BEA, CLEAN UP! LMFAO

    Have a great holiday Lora!

  8. Beatrice says:

Ah! Finally! :3 It’s good to know that she’s okay. //nods//

Happy Holidays to you, Lora! We’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates you might post. ^^

  9. Korosu says:

Love all the little details you’ve put on the cover, Lora! (And a late-night diet of pizza, ice cream, ho-ho’s, Doritos, soda, popcorn, Lucky Charms AND Cocoa Puffs?… LAWDY, no wonder she’s having such vivid dreams! One must wonder how she’s able to keep that figure, though. :P)

  10. Kelly Anne says:

Am I the only one who stresses out when Bea’s awake? I’m afraid she won’t be able to get back, I suppose. Ahh, that whole thing stresses me out. Putty in the writer’s hands… :o)

  11. Hannah17 says:

I love the cover!!!! And this means Bea’s gonna wake up!!! I can’t wait to see everyone’s reations!!!

  12. Hannah17 says:

    I meant ‘reactions’. Lol :)

  13. Caera says:

I agree with Saknika- MESS!!!! AHHH!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! lol

  14. Kaite says:

Awesome cover. I wish I could pig out like that and not worry about my body. I think I’m hungry now. mmmm… ice cream…

  15. Ellira says:

I just spent like, 5 minutes thinking ‘how’s she been eating when she’s been asleep?!’. Obviously I’m an idiot. Poor Bea. It looks like she can’t get to sleep again. I hope she doesn’t resort to more pills. :S

*is super excited for the new year*

    Have a great Christmas, Lora!

  16. marthy says:

Ha, my first reaction to this was ‘OMG! She’s been SLEEP EATING!’
But it may just be me who does that.

  17. Albone says:

Wow, that cover turned out awesome! That’s a great image. And who doesn’t like Lucky Charms? XD Hey, I have that remote, seems like Bea has cable TV, eh? That quote from Counting Crows is brilliant (I’m a fan) and is almost melancholy.

  18. Colleen says:

Haha marthy, I thought the same thing! I was like… huh what she can eat in her sleep? AWESOME.

And then I used that mushy thing in my head and realized that was stupid. But wow, all the details are so incredible, like the print-outs and the highlighter and the boston globe… amazing. But damn girl, you gotta watch what you eat!

  19. Brent says:

Bea eats what we eat! Awesome! And she’s apparently even messier than me ;-) The only thhing I can figure for her eating all that and staying thin is that running around in the revolutionary war burns a lot more calories than one would think.

Plus, she’s awake and apparently safe! But…….where did she get a tricorner hat?

    DUN DUH DUUUUUUUUH!!!!

  20. Sarah says:

Omg, I can’t BELIEVE I found this webcomic!! As a native Bostonian, I absolutely LOVE seeing stuff written about my city/my city’s history (I must have been on the freedom trail 1000 times as a kid, and we never made it past the Revolutionary War until…oh, 10th grade? Haha that’s probably an exaggeration, but still!) I love seeing all these names I recognize, I love the made-up high school name, the Boston Globe on the floor near the couch in this shot (I work for the Globe’s competitor so it makes me giggle!)

one thing I must complain about…I haven’t seen any sports paraphernalia on anyone in the ‘awake’ world!! If this were ANY new England high school, at least 50% of the male population would have Sox, Pats, Celts, or Bruins (mostly the first two) hats/jerseys/sweatshirts on, depending on the season. :D :D

  21. Lindsay says:

Wow! I’m going to take it to mean she wakes up soon! I hope she’s just had a long nap and nothing else has been too serious. Great drawings Lora!

  22. Anne says:

Mint chip is the best ever! Especially when it’s green!

And poor Bea! That’s got to be a horrible point at which to wake up — that is, if it happens right after the point where the last comic left off. I’m sure she wants to know if either of the men is hurt, and she doesn’t want either one angry with her, or over her. And the men are *all* shaken up, and most of them utterly confused as to what just happened. Oh, the chaos of having a woman in camp!

…methinks this is the *real* reason why sailors thought women were bad luck aboard their ships…

  23. Lora says:

Hey Sarah! John had a “Yankees Suck” Red Sox sticker in his locker in issue #2! ;)

  24. Grace says:

I found out something last week that ties me even closer to this webcomic. I’m a direct descendent of William Peyton Foster, who fought in the Revolutionary War and was a soldier for 6 years. Neat, huh? He and his descendents, in turn, went down to settle the Tennessee/Kentucky area, and knew Daniel Boone! I love history… :D

  25. moi says:

lol she likes pink huh? I spy a pink razr and ipod nano . . .

  26. BTF says:

OMG where’d she get the hat? Or the jacket? O_o

The curiosity is killing me! Great cover! XD
