  1. She looks like she was using witchcraft to kill herself. “Where’s the Charmed Ones when you need them?”

    LEO, WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My References to TV Show, Charmed.

    • David says:

The Power of Bea will set her free!

The Power of Bea will set her free!

The Power of Bea will set her free!

  2. Caera says:

Whoa, scary! Whoo could it beee????

The VI hints we’re going to jump to the 21st century next week, for some blame gaming, and I’m guessing that means we’ll not get our big reveal on who this mysterious “other woman” is. >.<

    LORA! How are you feeling?!?!?

  3. Gina says:

    Ooh. Color me intrigued.

    • Gina says:

I have my suspicions on who this is, but I have a feeling I’m wrong, so I’ll wait to say it!

      • David says:

From the looks of her hands, we know who it ISN”T.

That is, unless 18th century Yvette is making like Michael Jackson for some reason.

        • Julie says:

OR it’s just the lighting…OR 18th Century Yvette is mixed race…i.e. the illegitimate daughter of Gen. Howe (hence her name being Yvetter Howe in the 21st Century)!!! O_o

Sorry…I’m just loving the potential for drama here… :D

          • The only problem is that Gen. Howe never had kids.

          • Jen says:

That makes total sense to me. And yes, while on historical record Howe didn’t have kids, it wouldn’t have been uncommon for there to be a bit of a cover up if there was an illegitimate mixed-race child. Thomas Jefferson, anyone?

          • David says:

Mystery Girl in room = Skeleton in closet?

Yes! This could be the start of the family tree that will eventually lead to Yvette.

  4. Amber says:

    Oh, come on!
I am hanging off a cliff of suspense!
    Wo ist das?????
    Ich muss kann!
    Nein? Suefzer.
    Ich bin nervos.
Ok, I will speak English. Ha ha.
I guess she does not want to build a snowman. Maybe Howe has frozen her heart…..

  5. nessili says:

First question–How are you doing, Lora?

Second question–Did they have fingernail polish back then?

Throwing out my guess as to mystery woman: Yvette.

  6. Angie says:

Is past Yvette a voodoo queen?

  7. Sean McGuire says:

So excited to finally see this page! Yes, I’m excited to see cakes, satchetts, a large conch, and black and purple candles. Gosh, I wonder why? ;) Can’t wait to see where this leads!!!

  8. Melissa says:

Noooooooo! It’s still a mystery!!! XD

  9. Sean McGuire says:

Plot twist: The Mystery Voodoo Woman is actually Yvette who is actually Marie LaVeau.

  10. Graceofbass says:

I doubt it’s Marie Laveau, she wasn’t born until 1794.

  11. Brent says:

    Mysteriously mysterious lady is mysterious.

    …..Is it Beatrice’s mom?

Mrs. W.: “So, you don’t know, eh? Perhaps you’d like to say that to… cross face!”

  12. Sunbird says:

    So much mystery! I can’t take. D:

  13. Henrike says:

Yvette? The candle light might make it hard to see the actual skin colour. She does have fancy nail polish and the spooky atmosphere is not surprising to me if it is indeed Yvette. See at what Liz said in this page:

And is she holding a big shell? What does that mean?

  14. Theresa says:

Mr W: My dear, I’m sure they will bring her more jello when she wakes up. Can’t I have just one?

In all seriousness though, Lora how are you feeling?

  15. ShariIsLikeWHOA says:

So good to have The Dreamer back! Lora how are you feeling??? I get paid today so expect something in the mail soon ^.^

Has anybody heard about this show coming on called Turn? It’s set in the revolutionary war, any thoughts on it???
“‘They have spies everywhere. We need the same.'” On April 6, experience the Untold Story of America’s First Spy Ring. Only on AMC.”

I’m no historian but it could be fun ^.^ maybe we will see some familiar faces?

  16. Rose says:

    Um, wow. Howe is CREEPY.

Hope you’re resting up and feeling better, Lora!

  17. David says:

    Argh!!! The suspense is maddening!

Oh, well. I hope you’re feeling better, Lora. Get well soon! :)

    • Brent says:

Wait, what if this was her plan all along — fake an injury, and then claim that she’s recuperating while we worry when really her and Mike are just laughing maniacally?

      The horror…

  18. It’s Liz. Because wouldn’t that be crazy if past Liz was into voodoo magic? Ugh, what a cliff-hanger since it looks like we’re going back to the 21st century.

Mr. W: I blame your side of the family.

    • David says:

Continuation of the above VI conversation.

Mrs. W: “Hold on. MY side of the family?”
      Mr. W: “You heard me.”
Mrs. W: “I don’t believe this! Whenever she got good grades or excelled at extracurricular activities she was your ‘little angel’ and you were ‘the proud dad’, but she misuses drugs just ONE time and suddenly she’s MY daughter! Is that what you’re saying?”
Mr. W: “Yes. Your bad genes are finally taking effect!”
Mrs. W: “My mother was right about you. I should’ve listened to her!”

  19. Sunbird says:

Also her hand is on a vile of something…. poison?I hope this mysterious person didn’t check out!

  20. Lora says:

To all of your inquires, I’m doing well! Everything went as it was supposed to, and I’m on the road to recovery. I feel a little bit better every day.

  21. Julie says:

Yay Lora Update!! Glad to hear you’re recovering well!!!

Also, Yay Dreamer Update! :) The suspense is killing me…but the adrenaline is kind of a nice boost to end my exhausting week, so I’ll take it! :D

    • Julie says:

      Also also…VI Caption!!

Mr. Whaley: Honey, I swear I have no idea where that voodoo priestess came from!
Mrs. Whaley: Of course you don’t…but I hope you do have an idea of who isn’t going to clean up this mess for you.

(I just couldn’t help thinking that their faces were a perfect fit for what would happen if they opened a door in their home and saw the last panel of today’s page. :) )

  22. Half Moon says:

Yvette’s a witch? Please tell me white magic…??? Or would she be good old fashion voodoo??? …o God, Robert the doll is coming!!!

    • David says:

Hmm, I don’t know… That scene looks a bit too sinister for “white magic”.

    • Caera says:

Sorry, I won’t be making any Howe plushies. ;)

      • David says:

Not even to use for voodoo spells against that cad?

        • Caera says:

Not even then. “Do unto others” and all that. :P

          • Half Moon says:

LOL, Caera, I can’t think of anyone who’d have the nerve to curse you!
And David, I’m glad someone knows the reference and story!!!

          • Caera says:

Oh I can think of a few guys who didn’t want to take “no” for an answer, and then got beaten up and/or presented with legal action.

          • David says:

Right, then. There IS an alternative use for a Howe plushie. Whenever you get ticked off or all-out angry at someone or something you could throw it against the wall, slam it on a table top, stomp on it, or if you’re extremely irate, stab it with a miniature spontoon. That way you could get it out of your system without anybody getting hurt. At least consider it.

          • Half Moon says:

Caera, like my mom always says “Just threaten them with a dull rusty skateblade and they’ll back off.”
David, at the mention of stabbing it…that could give someone the idea to make it a voodoo Howe doll… O.o

          • David says:

Okay, MAYBE the spontoon bit was overdoing it. I guess I was thinking of a symbolic payback for what Howe did to Nathan, but since Nathan doesn’t seem like the vengeful type I shall retract the part about spontoon stabbing, for his sake. However, I stand by all the OTHER possible uses for a Howe plushie, and I can’t be the only one to have such thoughts.

Actually, in retrospect, being copied in plushie form would be TOO good for a loathsome villain like Howe. Plushies are supposed to be all cute and cuddly, which that fiend most certainly is NOT!

So….. would a General Howe DARTBOARD be acceptable? No voodoo there! :)

  23. CJ Dunleavy says:

Number 28 on the Top Web list! Great way to start off a new month, folks. Let’s continue as “Bea keepers” to raise The Dreamer even higher in the ranks!

  24. David says:

The Mystery Girl under the blanket is….. a young Doris Roberts?

Really, why not? She’s old enough to have been alive in 1776.

  25. Lora says:

I keep thinking it’s Friday. It’s not, is it? You guys are waiting for a Dreamer page, aren’t you?

  26. AudreyAnn says:

This is my first post on the Dreamer but, I’ve been a fan for a long time.
When I saw this page, I couldn’t help but think of: because of what is hanging about Bea’s head in the bed.
