The Winners for the 2009 Cybils were announced yesterday and… The Dreamer wasn’t among them. C’est la vie! It’s always wonderful to be nominated in something like this, it brings attention and new readers to the book. So I’m very grateful for that.

I’m feeling a lot better (comparatively). I left the house a few times this weekend and it was good to get out and rejoin the land of the living. Thanks for all the well-wishes, and for all the suggestions I got (on Twitter) of your favorite home remedies. I was so desperate, I think I tried all of them. The one with the most immediate results? A mouth full of jalapenos!
Happy late Valentine’s Day, and early Mardi Gras everyone! I’m glad that I’m well enough to bake a king cake tonight for our Mardi Gras party tomorrow! And yes, I’m back at my drawing desk today, huzzah! Thanks to having Julie on the team, we won’t miss any updates on account of me taking a week off. Colorists are officially awesome.
