Wanted: A Few Good Men to serve with Thomas Knowlton

Seeking Volunteers for 3rd Connecticut

Thomas Knowlton wants YOU to serve your country with him at Bunker Hill.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of Bea’s adventure right along side of her? Well, if you are a man who has at least one tooth on the top and bottom (to rip open your paper cartridges to load your gun) AND you are at least as tall as your musket, this is your chance!

The Dreamer is looking for men of fit mind and body to appear in the comic in an upcoming scene which takes place at Bunker Hill. Captain Thomas Knowlton of Ashford, Connecticut is recruiting volunteers to immediately march to the aid of Boston after the shot heard round the world at Lexington on April 19th.

If you’ve ever wanted a cameo in the comic, now is your chance! Spots are $50 each. The first eight guys to email me will be drawn into upcoming pages at Bunker Hill as one of Thomas Knowlton’s men. This will appear not just in the webcomic, but in Volume 3 when it is collected and printed, sold in bookstores everywhere!

Everyone who buys a cameo will have the option to also buy a beautiful, framable, signed 11 x 17 print of the page you appear in, for only an additional $10 plus shipping.

Ready to Enlist? Here’s How:

-email me: lora (a) thedreamercomic (dot) com

-if you are one of the first responders, I’ll let you know, and give you instructions from there.

It’s that simple! (Sorry ladies!)

UPDATE: Captain Knowlton has filled his ranks. Volunteers should be ready to start the long march to Boston in the morning. Thanks everyone!

As always, VOTE to preview the next page!

Vote for The Dreamer!

Can’t we have Deborah Sampson like women???????????

  2. Caitlin says:

I sent you an email enlisting my husband because he’s at the rifle range this week. I can do that, right? Because he totally gave me Power of Attorney when he was deployed, and I don’t think it has expired yet. I’d love to get some use out of that legal right ;)

I’m sure he’ll be okay with it. I can call him tonight and ask…

    teeheeheehee!

  3. Lora says:

Half the slots are filled already. If you want one, let me know sooner rather than later!

  4. Shawnie Peck says:

can horses be in the cameos?!

  5. Caera says:

So when do the ladies get cameos? *evil grin*

    Hi Lora,
